WARRIORS & QUIET WATERS

Warriors in Quiet Waters provides traumatically injured U.S. servicemen and women from Iraq and Afghanistan with a high quality restorative program, utilizing the therapeutic experience of fly fishing on Montana waters. WQW brings wounded warriors to Montana for a six-day program of fly fishing and recreation. Most warriors who come are still in rehab in the military hospital system. Once here, they have the opportunity to relax and to learn to fly fish in the quiet and beautiful surroundings of Montana and neighboring Yellowstone Park.

MANHATTAN CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

We support Manhattan Christian School in a variety of ways, including the annual Dutch Supper & Tulip Mania Auction each year. A traditional Dutch buffet is served and both silent and live auctions take place with a wide variety of goods and services up for auction. Manhattan Christian School’s goal is to develop knowledgeable and competent discipleship among their students. The school was started in 1907 by a group of parents who wished to provide their children with a quality education from a Biblical perspective.

MUSIC ON MAIN

The annual Music on Main summer concert series is held in Historic Downtown Bozeman. Music on Main is a free community event hosted by the Downtown Bozeman Association and nearly 100% funded by business sponsorships. At Music on Main you can enjoy outstanding live music from popular local and regional bands, grab a bite to eat from food vendors, and stop by some local non-profit booths for family activities.

HUFFING FOR STUFFING

Huffing For Stuffing brings the community together to support our neighbors who rely on the Gallatin Valley Food Bank during a time of great need by providing a heart-healthy, family-oriented, fun run. Event proceeds benefit HRDC’s Gallatin Valley Food Bank. During the last ten years, Huffing For Stuffing has donated over $352,000 to the Gallatin Valley Food Bank. Thanks to community wide support they are able to do profoundly good work — fight hunger and feed families.

For nearly 38 years, HAVEN has been dedicated to providing quality service and advocacy for all domestic violence survivors in need. These services include survivor advocacy, legal advocacy, individual counseling, emergency shelter, a 24-hour support line, three support groups, and Community Education. These services are all vital to both intervention and prevention of domestic violence in the Gallatin Valley.

BOZEMAN STAMPEDE

The Bozeman Stampede is a non-profit local PRCA rodeo in Bozeman, MT. This three day event contains all your favorite rodeo action and benefits local youth Ag organizations. It was started in 2010 by a handful of Bozemanites with the intension of bringing back a sanctioned rodeo to Bozeman for the first time in over 50 years.  Their goal is to provide a fun community event that benefits Bozeman business and community both culturally and economically, and raises money for quality local Ag groups.

CRUISIN ON MAIN CAR SHOW

Since 2001, the Downtown Bozeman Association has hosted the “Cruisin on Main” Car Show in historic Downtown Bozeman.  It has become a premier, state-wide event celebrating classic cars, trucks & motorcycles.  Since 2011, they have partnered with the Cancer Support Community to raise awareness of the support offered to all people affected by cancer.  Together they have raised over $98,000!

CENTRAL VALLEY FIRE DEPARTMENT

Central Valley Fire District is in the heart of beautiful Gallatin County, Montana. CVFD provides all risk fire, rescue, and emergency medical services for 36,000 citizens residing in a two-hundred-square-mile area including Belgrade, River Rock, Valley Center, Four Corners, Springhill, Reece Creek, and Dry Creek communities. Within the boundaries of the District are expansive agricultural, wild land and recreation areas, large single-family homes and multi-family residential subdivisions, and a vibrant growing business community. The District is home to the International Bozeman-Yellowstone Airport and is bisected by a major interstate highway (I-90) and the Montana Rail Link railroad.

Dutch Dash for Education

In honor of the community’s Dutch heritage, Amsterdam Elementary School and Manhattan Christian School have joined together to put on the Dutch Dash for Education to support both schools. There are both a 5K and 10K event to walk/run the hills through beautiful Churchill to support the community’s schools.

DENTISTRY FROM THE HEART EVENT

Spreading Free Smiles Across the Gallatin Valley. Dr. McClung from Big Sky Dental Center hosts Dentistry From The Heart, providing free dental care to patients over the age of 18 who cannot get dental care elsewhere. The services provided by Dentistry From The Heart helps more than just a patients teeth, it gives them a renewed reason to smile. Since its inception in 2001, Dentistry From The Heart has grown to include more than 200 annual events nationwide and provided more than 45,000 people with free dental care services.

Half Circle Ranch & Calvinist Cadets

The Half Circle Ranch, headquartered in Belgrade MT, provides a free gun range for past military members and they have Calvinist Cadets teaching them about the outdoors and how to shoot. The ranch also raises Grass Fed Montana Piedmontese Beef.

The Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Equestrian Team is a club sport that is a part of the MSU Horseman’s Association. The team competes in the IHSA Region 8 Zone 3.
